As part of the X Portingaloise – International Festival of Early Dances and Music, Ana Pinho Vargas exhibits a set of 52 new works, the result of an artistic residency, which includes digital photographs, analogue photographs, paintings, drawings, collages and sketches. The exhibition can be visited from Tuesday to Sunday, from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm and from 2:00 pm to 5:30 pm.

As part of the X Portingaloise – International Festival of Ancient Dances and Music, Ana Pinho Vargas exhibits a set of 52 new works, which resulted from an artistic residency, and which includes digital photographs, analogue photographs, paintings, drawings, collages and sketches.

"Millefleurs", exhibition of artist Ana Pinho Vargas' residence in which the photographer seeks to explore the essence of the feminine in modern society. This exhibition was created in parallel with the show “Millefleurs – The return to the enclosure of others”. To record her intimate and complicit look in this creative process, the artist combined photography, drawing and painting to create a rich tapestry, reflecting the intimate journey of women as artists and performers.

Part of the X Portingaloise – International Festival of Early Dances and Music, the exhibition “Millefleurs” by Ana Pinho Vargas presents a set of 52 new works, the result of an artistic residency that explores the essence of the feminine in contemporary society.

The exhibition includes: digital and analog photographs; paintings, drawings, collages and sketches.

The artist combines visual recording and choreographic gestures, embodying the intimate and artistic journey of the women performers. The exhibition is deeply linked to the show “Millefleurs – The return to the enclosure of others”, forming a tapestry rich in emotional and physical narratives.

La capacità dell’artista di esprimere la propria singolarità attraverso le infinite potenzialità artistico espressive, gli consente di realizzare creazioni che si prestano a svariate letture, frutto di molteplici declinazioni interpretative: la fruizione dell’opera d’arte consente, dunque, al suo spettatore di attivare meccanismi percettivi e dinamiche cognitive capaci di generare un livello di comprensione e valutazione prettamente soggettivo.

La mostra “Through Time and Space” è stata pensata come una variegata e articolata panoramica sul mondo dell’arte contemporanea al fine di valorizzare e promuovere le esperienze artistiche di una generazione a noi vicina che ha saputo coniugare tradizione e innovazione e che opera con competenza tecnica e fervore creativo puntando sulle proprie potenzialità inventive e sulle proprie specifiche vocazioni.

This commemorative edition will also feature the sensitive look of the young audiovisual artist Ana Vargas who, as part of the Millefleurs creative team, will create original plastic work, which will expand this feminine encounter in the future.

O Festival Portingaloise conjuga criação/performance, formação e investigação relacionadas com o património coreográfico europeu do século XV ao XIX.
