The Sublime Essence of Light and Darkness: Concepts of Dualism and Unity in Contemporary Art and Design

The XV Florence Biennale is the highly anticipated international art and design exhibition that will take place from October 18 to 26, 2025, at the historic Fortezza da Basso in Florence.

This world-renowned event is an extraordinary showcase for artists, designers, and creatives from every corner of the globe, offering a unique platform for presenting the most innovative contemporary artistic expressions.

The collective exhibition presents the work of 24 international artists from the various countries of the world in a fantastic journey through the scope of the style, genres and expressions ranging from figurative to abstract and informal painting, giving visitors the opportunity to discover the new trends in contemporary art.

Alunos do 10º ano do Curso Profissional de Imagem Interativa do IAI - Instituto das Artes e da Imagem visitaram a “EXPOSIÇÃO MILLEFLEURS” no último dia 4/junho no Espaço Corpus Christi em Vila Nova de Gaia.

No último dia 21/maio demos início a uma série de visitas guiadas à Exposição "𝗠𝗜𝗟𝗟𝗘𝗙𝗟𝗘𝗨𝗥𝗦", onde a artista Ana Pinho Vargas conta em primeira pessoa todo o processo criativo que culminou nesta exposição criada a partir do espetáculo “𝗠𝗜𝗟𝗟𝗘𝗙𝗟𝗘𝗨𝗥𝗦 - 𝗢 𝗿𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗼 𝗮̀ 𝗰𝗹𝗮𝘂𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗮 𝗱𝗼𝘀 𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗿𝗼𝘀”.
Nesta primeira visita contamos com os alunos do InKultu, - Instituto de Cultura de Vila Nova de Gaia, acompanhados pela professora Carla Gomes.

A Portingaloise – Associação Cultural e Artística apresenta, até 8 de junho de 2025, a exposição "MILLEFLEURS", de Ana Pinho Vargas, no âmbito do X Portingaloise – Festival Internacional de Danças e Músicas Antigas.

Neste projeto, a artista procura explorar a essência do feminino através do seu olhar íntimo e cúmplice do processo de criação do espetáculo "MILLEFLEURS – O regresso à clausura dos outros". A mostra apresenta um conjunto de 52 obras inéditas e inclui fotografias digitais, fotografias analógicas, pinturas, desenhos, colagens e esboços.

Os alunos do Curso Profissional de Técnico Design de Equipamento, do 10º ano, acompanhados pela professora Anete Fernandes, visitaram o Espaço Corpus Christi, em Vila Nova de Gaia: No dia 21 de maio, através da voz da Artista Ana Pinho Vargas conheceram a sua exposição “Millefleurs”, no âmbito do X Portingaloise – Festival Internacional de Danças e Músicas Antigas.

Esta exposição foi sendo tecida em paralelo à nova criação do Ensemble Portingaloise intitulada “𝗠𝗜𝗟𝗟𝗘𝗙𝗟𝗘𝗨𝗥𝗦 - 𝗢 𝗿𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗼 𝗮̀ 𝗰𝗹𝗮𝘂𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗮 𝗱𝗼𝘀 𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗿𝗼𝘀”, estreada a 29 de março, com dramaturgia e encenação de Pedro Ribeiro e direção musical de Ana Mafalda Castro.

As part of the X Portingaloise – International Festival of Early Dances and Music, Ana Pinho Vargas exhibits a set of 52 new works, the result of an artistic residency, which includes digital photographs, analogue photographs, paintings, drawings, collages and sketches. The exhibition can be visited from Tuesday to Sunday, from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm and from 2:00 pm to 5:30 pm.

"Millefleurs", exhibition of artist Ana Pinho Vargas' residence in which the photographer seeks to explore the essence of the feminine in modern society. This exhibition was created in parallel with the show “Millefleurs – The return to the enclosure of others”. To record her intimate and complicit look in this creative process, the artist combined photography, drawing and painting to create a rich tapestry, reflecting the intimate journey of women as artists and performers.
