O DIÁRIO (2019-2021)

The images were produced over a year and a half, all of them part of the authorial project “O diário” (2019-2021). The photographs have an abstract language that trespasses from the shapes and the drawing of the various lines of the different sets of music scores and their more ephemeral side, in which the images end up being a reflection of experiences of memory.

The  idea  with  the  authorial  book was to build a story based on its construction, selection  and combination of the images that compose it and based on a visual and aesthetic narrative. The two authorial diaries reflect a search for proximity to the universe of music and a search for the simplicity and naturalness of a daily routine by capturing images of the surrounding space. The idea with the book is that it becomes, in the same way as the diary, a place of comfort, a “stage” of relationships between images, visual and musical connections and above all a space that can transport us to a close universe, intimate and familiar.
