The exhibition is held under patronage of UNESCO (the Italian Comission), European Parlament, Italian Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Tuscany Region and Municipality of Florence.

Ana Pinho Vargas is a Portuguese artist, photographer and painter. She lives and works in Vila Nova de Gaia, Porto. She has a master in photography from the School of Arts of Portuguese Catholic University in Porto in 2022 and a bachelor in photography and visual culture from the Faculty of Design, Technology and Communication in IADE European University in Lisbon in 2019. The artist has already had her work exhibited in Lisbon, Porto, São João da Madeira, Barcelona, Trieste, Buenos Aires, Venice, Rome and will exhibit in Turin and Florence, among others. The artist won the international award “Artist of the Year 2025” of Effetto Arte foundation and curators Salvatore Russo and Francesco Saverio Russo in Florence in January of 2025. Her first solo exhibition, “Silêncio” took place from February 15 to March 22, 2025 at the Photography Gallery of the São João da Madeira Art Center.
Ana Pinho Vargas é uma artista portuguesa, fotógrafa e pintora. Atualmente vive e trabalha em Vila Nova de Gaia, no Porto. É mestre em Fotografia pela Escola das Artes da Universidade Católica Portuguesa, no Porto em 2022 e licenciada em Fotografia e Cultura Visual pela Faculdade de Design, Tecnologia e Comunicação da Universidade Europeia IADE, em Lisboa em 2019. A artista já teve a sua obra exposta em Lisboa, Porto, São João da Madeira, Barcelona, Trieste, Buenos Aires, Veneza, Roma e futuramente irá expor em Turim e Florença, entre outros. A artista ganhou o prémio internacional “Artist of the Year 2025” da Fundação Effetto Arte e dos curadores Salvatore Russo e Francesco Saverio Russo em Florença, em Janeiro de 2025.
A sua primeira exposição individual, “Silêncio” decorreu de 15 de Fevereiro a 22 de Março de 2025 na Galeria de Fotografia do Centro de Arte de São João da Madeira.
