She says that photography has music in it. Ana Pinho Vargas is a photographer and has signed the exhibition “Silêncio” on display at the Centro de Arte de São João da Madeira, in the district of Aveiro, until March 22.

The photographer has until March 22nd, at São João da Madeira Art Center, the exhibition “Silêncio”. Daughter of the well-known pianist António Pinho Vargas and harpsichordist Ana Mafalda Castro, Ana created an exhibition around her father's work.

My first solo exhibition is called “Silêncio” at the Photography Gallery of São João da Madeira Art Center from February 15 to March 22.

It will feature two works: "Silêncio" and its continuation, "Silêncio II," which will be shown to the public for the first time.

I had my work “Untitled” in the exhibition “The Body Language” by Liquid Group, in collaboration with ACIT Venice – Italian-German Cultural Association and GOETHE INSTITUTE, at Palazzo Albrizzi-Capello in Venice from February 14 to February 28 of 2025.

Photography captures moments, but it also evokes atmospheres and memories. "Silêncio", the exhibition by Ana Pinho Vargas, invites us to dive into the stillness of the images and find meaning in the space between the words.

A visual and sensory experience not to be missed.

The exhibition contains unpublished works by photographer and painter Ana Pinho Vargas, presented for the first time in Portugal.

Her work "Silêncio", already exhibited in Lisbon, Barcelona and Trieste, will now be on display in the Portuguese artist's first solo exhibition in São João da Madeira.

The artist will exhibit for the first time the work "Silêncio II", which features new works, one of which will be present in a group exhibition in Rome in April.
