Exhibition “Millefleurs” by Ana Pinho Vargas in Corpus Christi Space until June 8th - Terras de Gaia newspaper

O Espaço Corpus Christi, em Vila Nova de Gaia, recebe até 8 de junho a exposição “Millefleurs”, da artista Ana Pinho Vargas, no âmbito do X Portingaloise – Festival Internacional de Danças e Músicas Antigas. A mostra reúne 52 obras inéditas resultantes de uma residência artística, incluindo fotografias, pinturas, desenhos, colagens e esboços.

Inspirada no espetáculo “Millefleurs – O regresso à clausura dos outros”, a exposição explora a essência do feminino na sociedade contemporânea. A artista combina várias técnicas para criar uma narrativa visual íntima sobre o papel das mulheres nas artes.

A exposição pode ser visitada de terça a domingo, das 9h00 às 12h30 e das 14h00 às 17h30.

Espaço Corpus Christi, in Vila Nova de Gaia, hosts the exhibition “Millefleurs”, by artist Ana Pinho Vargas, until June 8, as part of the X Portingaloise – International Festival of Dances and Early Music. The exhibition brings together 52 new works resulting from an artistic residency, including photographs, paintings, drawings, collages and sketches.

Inspired by the show “Millefleurs – The return to the enclosure of others”, the exhibition explores the essence of the feminine in contemporary society. The artist combines several techniques to create an intimate visual narrative about the role of women in arts.

The exhibition can be visited from Tuesday to Sunday, from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm and from 2:00 pm to 5:30 pm.
